Why the screening matters.

On May 20th Joss Whedon posted a blog on Whedonesque here.
It is heart-wrenching and painful to read. He says "Last month seventeen year old Dua Khalil was pulled into a crowd of young men, some of them (the instigators) family, who then kicked and stoned her to death." And they recorded it on their cell phones.

This is the sort of thing that Equality Now is fighting. That we are fighting.
What can you do?
Come to a screening - in Toronto if you are close, or to any of the other many cities doing this. All of our profits are going to Equality Now.
Read the Blog and link to it. Discuss what happened. Get the word out.
Buy one of the shirts which lexigeek has created. Proceeds are going to Equality Now.
We can make a difference.
