The Toronto Browncoats: Doing Good Works.

What a success it was! We made over $2,000.00 for Equality Now. And the theatre seemed full even though I knew it wasn't. A big thanks to due to all who came out and dropped extra money in the buckets.
Tim of the Royal was extrememely helpful and I only wish the Royal was around for next year.
Great times.

One week to go!
Less than that even! We've got over 90 tickets sold so even in a 450 seat theatre we won't be rattling around like Mexican jumping beans in there.
And I know there are all sorts of people who plan to go who haven't gotten tickets yet.
Woot!

We are only 2 weeks away and things are heating up. The door prizes are coming in - I just received the signed Firefly CD from Greg Edmonson. What a gentleman he is!

Other people have donated a pieceworks card of one of Wash's shirts and someone else has donated a set of those elusive chopsticks. And this is on top of all the other donations. I'm eagerly awaiting the On The Drift CD from the Bedlam Bards. I expect that one will be chosen quickly when we do the draw.

At last count, I think we had over 50 gathering for dinner afterwards. A great way to end all the excitement.
